1. Sky Smile Program Award is Award ticket of MAI
2. Award is issued on the basis of deducting accumulated
points in member’s account and the relevant point’s
requirements are based on the actual itinerary by miles.
3. The cardholders can request and redeem points for
awards. Only valid points can be redeemed for an award.
4. To request an award, Members should make reservation,
complete an “Award Request Form” which can be downloaded
from MAI website and email or fax it to MAI. MAI needs
to receive your Award Request Form (7) working days
prior to the issuance date of the award certificate.
5. After receiving the “Award Request Form”, MAI will
process this request based on reservation status and the
number of accumulated points in the member’s account. In
case the award request is not accepted, MAI will notify
to the member as soon as possible.
6. If the award request is accepted MAI will email or
will inform the member to collect the Award Certificate
to member’s address expressed in the profile.
7. Members then take this Award Certificate to the
nearest MAI booking office or authorized travel agents,
which is stated in Award Certificate for collecting an
award. (Member may authorize another person to collect
an award providing that the name of authorized person is
written on authorization letter and an ID card or
passport to the office concerned to collect the award.)
8. Points required for Award ticket are based on the
round-trip travel basis.
11. The number of points required for award tickets for
infant or child is equal to the adult’s award ticket.
9. In case that the issued Certificate is lost or
expired, or Member wishes to change the beneficiary,
routing or class of travel, it can be reissued with the
following conditions:
- If the issued Award Certificate is expired within 30
days, it can be reissued one more time with the
condition that will charge USD10.00 to member.
- If the issued Certificate is lost and is expired
within 30 days, it can be reissued with the condition
that will charge USD 20.00 to member.
- If the issued Voucher is still within validity but
Member wishes to change the name of the beneficiary or
routing it can be reissued with the condition that
charge USD 50.00 to member.
10. Award ticket may be re-booked in its (6) six
validity months. Award ticket will not be endorsed,
rerouted, or extended and/or upgraded to a higher class
by paying extra money.
11. Companion award ticket will be issued only when the
beneficiary is accompanied by member traveling with a
paid ticket on exactly the same itinerary, at least on
the first flight. When making a request for companion
award ticket, the Member must provide traveling details
of companion and of the paid ticket to MAI.
12. Award certificate will be valid for (30) days from
the date of issue. Award ticket, companion award ticket
will be valid for (6) month/year from the date of
issuance.
13. MAI shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to
an issued Award Certificate and award ticket.
14. Award can not be exchanged, transferred, inherited
or misused.
15.Any taxes or duties arising out of or in connection
with the receipt of Award or benefits shall be
responsibility of and borne by the beneficiary.
16. MAI shall not accept any responsibility or liability
in the event of non-availability, impossibility of
reservation, or issuance of award due to or in
connection with the termination of partnership, the
changing of flight schedule or any other reason beyond
control.
